Q. Do you give free estimates? A. Our first in-home consultation is free of charge. Q. What is the difference between local custom cabinets and your factory cabinets? A: The finish. Our cabinets are finished at the factory not at the job site! This creates a furniture quality and durability unattainable by local cabinet shops. Q. Will there be extra or hidden costs after we start? A: There are never any “hidden” costs. If a homeowner decides to make changes after their job has commenced, these costs are priced out ahead of time and approved by the owner. Q. Do you do insurance or commercial jobs? A: No. We specialize in residential remodeling only. Q. Do you subcontract the total job? A: No. Nelson-Dye has on staff some of the finest craftsmen in the Valley. Specialty trades such as electrical, plumbing, plaster, etc. do require subcontractors. Ours have been with us over 15 years on average. Q. Will it take longer than the contract says? A: Job delays can occur due to additional work, (authorized by the homeowner), or weather. But on average our jobs are completed within the allotted time on the contract. Q. Do you have any awards?
